Corte, the green capital of Corsica, welcomes you for a four-day multi-pitch climbing course.
We leave our bags in a hotel in Corte, keeping only our climbing shoes, harness and helmet. With our quickdraws, harnesses, friends and ropes, we set off for a new adventure on the vertical walls of central Corsica.
We’ll go through some multi-pitch climbing techniques: belaying, rappelling, securing, etc. Depending on your level, we’ll choose the difficulty of the routes you’ll climb. If you’re used to climbing in the lead, you’ll be in the lead on some pitches. The multi-pitch routes we choose will be the most emblematic of the Tavignano and Restonica valleys.
We’ll have to choose among all those little melodies that resonate so tenderly within us: Bella ciao, Esméralda, Ombre et lumière, Candella di l’oro, La Chanson de prés verts… just a few of the many names of the great routes, but it’s impossible to climb them all in just four days.
Choosing just one of the most beautiful walls to climb each day will be a dilemma that will keep you awake at night.
